Project Title: Design at 63

Client Overview:
Design at 63 is a small Etsy business that specialises in personalised printed items, boasting over 500 sales and an array of rave reviews. To establish a stronger brand presence and facilitate business growth, the client sought to expand beyond Etsy by creating their own dedicated website.

Project Goals:

  • Develop a standalone website to complement the existing Etsy shop and establish the brand.
  • Implement an e-commerce solution for personalised printed items.
  • Focus on search engine optimisation (SEO) to enhance online visibility.
  • Integrate email capture strategies to grow the client base.

Technical Implementation:
To achieve these goals, I built a fully functional WordPress website integrated with WooCommerce, which included:

  • E-commerce Setup: Developed an intuitive online store that showcases personalised printed items, allowing for easy browsing and purchasing.
  • Payment Integration: Integrated Stripe payment processing to provide secure and convenient payment options for customers.
  • SEO Focus: Conducted an in-depth SEO analysis to optimise product listings and content, ensuring the site is well-positioned in search engine results for relevant keywords.
  • Email Capture: Implemented effective email capture techniques, including pop-ups and sign-up forms, to grow the client’s mailing list for future marketing efforts.

Results:
The launch of the Design at 63 website resulted in a significant boost to the brand’s visibility and sales potential. The e-commerce setup allowed for direct sales outside of Etsy, while the SEO and email capture strategies began to grow the client base, enhancing customer engagement.

Conclusion:
The Design at 63 project exemplifies my commitment to helping small businesses transition to dedicated online platforms. By building a tailored e-commerce website with a focus on SEO and customer engagement, I enabled the client to establish a stronger brand presence and pursue growth opportunities beyond their Etsy store.
